Before I sign up to edline, what is all about?
Edline is a learning system that is used in lots of schools in the US, it provide classroom support for students, parents and teachers from playschool/Kindergarten right through to the 12th grade at school. Edline is being used by schools in all the 50 states in the USA and has been featured several times in several press releases / media publications.
The main goal of Edline is to help schools move towards paperless school work, saving costs and helping the environment. The school work and even homework is uploaded onto the sites (exams / projects) and the student completes the work which is then submitted to the teacher. The site has a clever progress systems where parents / teachers can see which students have missed / not completed the work and there is even a build in email facility where students or parents can email teachers if extra help is needed. Edline has now merged with Blackboard as of October 2011 and was re branded to Blackboard Engage.

To complete the edline sign up process you need to follow the below steps;
1. Visit the edline sign up page.
2. Enter your activation code (if you do not have one you will need to obtain it from your school / teacher).
3. Your school may have already registered you and if this is the case then you just need; your schools URL (website link), username and password.
4. If you do NOT yet have this then after the activation code is entered follow the steps through to the final step and then you have successfully completed the edline sign up process and can start using the great features of edline.
